Gavin Jones

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

As senior project manager, Gavin is driven to partner with commercial building owners/ tenants, to protect their interests and serve as an advocate during their construction project. Gavin’s 14 years of professional experience provides discipline across each phase of the planning and construction process, allowing him to play an integral role in the project from start to finish. While mindfully weighing the associated risks and opportunities, Gavin predominantly focuses on turning big-picture ideas into a seamless execution of project objectives and ultimately, a complete and polished product. With highly developed leadership skills, Gavin emerges as a project management expert, supporting his achievements with an extensive background in construction and a unique design approach.

Much of Gavin’s professional experience prior to joining the team at Colliers International was spent at local architecture firms Bean Architects and Ford & Associates Architects. Here, he developed his design and construction skills, working on a broad range of project types, including retail, restaurant, office and multi-family. Able to initiate a project at the design level and coordinate its development through construction and on to completion, Gavin proved his proficiency in a leadership position.

More recently, Gavin took on the role as Director of Design & Development for Pies & Pints restaurants. It was here he gained extensive knowledge in managing all facets of the construction process, stepping in as the owner representative. From devising project budgets and hiring all contractors and consultants, to facilitating the progression of construction from start to finish, Gavin fine- tuned his management skills while gaining a passion for developing a space that best fits the business he represents.

Alan McLoughlin

PROJECT MANAGER

Alan plays a critical role in the development and implementation of Colliers’ commercial real estate projects. He works collaboratively with fellow Project Manager Lindsay Harris and Senior Project Manager Gavin Jones to identify and achieve client’s needs. Alan’s 14 years of project management experience enables him to apply knowledge across the design and construction spectrum to help guide tenants and owners through the multiple phases of their renovation or new-build investment.  His ability to lead a project, create an inclusive project team and deliver a polished product make him a great asset to the Colliers’ Project Management Team.

Prior to joining the Colliers International Team, Alan spent time with The Kroger, Co. and The Ohio State University.  While at Kroger, he spent much of his time representing them on new store construction, interior remodels, expansions and fuel centers. He created estimates and managed projects from start to finish, ensuring projects were completed on time and within the allotted budget.  In addition, he managed the fixture plan design process to ensure construction layouts were completed for stores that would be remodeled in upcoming capital years.  He gained knowledge of construction standards and was able to apply that to transition into the energy manager role for the Columbus Division.  In the energy role he set and maintained annual utility budgets while also managing energy saving projects such as rollout of LED lighting to all the Columbus division stores.

After Kroger, Alan took on the role of project manager with the Wexner Medical Center team for The Ohio State University.  Here, he managed projects for the University Hospitals, College of Medicine, James Cancer Tower and the College of Pharmacy.  He worked with multiple user groups to ensure project scopes were fully identified, projects were estimated accurately and executed in a manner that conformed to not only OSU and the State of Ohio standards, but also FGI guidelines.

Lindsay Harris

PROJECT MANAGER

Lindsay is a central part of the tenant improvement and office buildout process for Colliers International’s commercial tenants. Her experience with commercial leasing and construction allow her to work hand in hand with the Real Estate Management Services team to produce beautiful spaces for office tenants. Her strong communication, effective project organization and clear understanding of the construction and leasing processes play a fundamental role in every project.

Much of Lindsay’s career has been spent working with Real Estate Developers, General Contractors, and Residential & Commercial Property Management companies across Ohio. She focused her early career on real estate development and property management, spending 5 years at T&R Properties building single and multi-family housing developments from the ground up. There she was also able to form an understanding of property management, leasing, and tenant relations. Lindsay then moved to Unispace, a design-build company focused on commercial tenant buildouts. Here she was able to work closely with the in-house brokers, architects, interior designers, and construction site managers, allowing her to develop a solid understanding of the entire ‘leasing to buildout’ process. As a preconstruction project manager, she was involved with tenants from the very beginning, helping to evolve the vision for their spaces, creating project budgets, leading the bid process and implementing overall project setup.

Most recently, Lindsay took on an owner’s representative role with Olshan Properties, a real estate developer and property management company with commercial centers and hotels spread throughout the Midwest and East coast. Here, she strengthened her understanding of commercial leasing, working alongside internal brokers to close deals, and then coordinating with tenants and contractors to complete projects of different scale. Lindsay was also introduced to hotel management and construction, having been able to work on several hotel renovations and new ground up construction projects during her time there.
